Happy Splash is the specialist baby, toddler and preschool swim school founded in 2020 by an ex special forces and national level swimmer. Focussing on vital water safety and child development, our lessons benefit from the exclusive use of the warmest hydrotherapy pool in the county.
Lessons run year round following the nationally recognised Swim England programme. During non term time, lessons will focus on core skills and fun pool parties to emphasise your child’s enjoyment of being in the water.
Swimming will not only strengthen your child’s heart and lungs but also their arm, leg and neck muscles which in turn, helps with their coordination and balance.
Our pool is the ideal place for your little one to develop their social interaction as they play with other babies in the class. It’s also a brilliant way for you to meet other like-minded parents too.
The hydrotherapy pool is located inside an elderly residential care home with a large window separating the pool from the lounge area. This allows a fantastic opportunity for inter generational interaction.
The homes residents get a huge amount of pleasure watching the children flourish in the pool whilst enjoying their afternoon tea and the children benefit from a beaming audience who are always waiting with a happy wave. There is ample free parking on-site.
Lessons are currently available in groups, (with a maximum of 5 in each class) as well as one-to-one’s and family only sessions. We will soon be developing our hydro fitness classes and pool parties exclusively available to our members. Our team of teachers have years of experience in teaching children swimming and are fully qualified and DBS checked annually so you can rest assured you’re in safe hands.

£9.50 30 min group lesson with max 5 in a group.
£18 for a 20 min 1:1 (half the pool allocation)
£25 for a 30 min family lesson
£50 for a 1 hour family lesson
30min and 1 hour COVID secure private pool family splash session. Entire pool to yourself with lifeguard on side. A sensory experience with lights, bubbles, music and toys.
